What is it?
Sole-Traction™ Anti-Slip Treatment is a specially formulated liquid safety product that is applied to your mineral surfaces by our factory trained and certified Service Technicians.

How does it work?
The “novel” Sole-Traction™ Anti-Slip product reacts with molecules of silica found in all mineral tiles and natural stones, creating an ‘invisible tread’ to provide you with slip-resistant safety, particularly in wet areas such as kitchens, change rooms, bathrooms, showers, patios, entry foyers and ramps.

How will it look after treatment? 
Presentation is important. After your surfaces have undergone the Sole-Traction™ Anti-Slip Treatment you will notice little or no change in appearance.  The real difference is in the improved slip resistance.

How long will it last?
Because the Sole-Traction™ Anti-Slip Treatment is a chemical reaction, not a coating, it will last for the life of surface when properly maintained. Proper cleaning is all that is required.

Independent tests (by government bodies) prove Sole-Traction™ Anti-Slip Treatment provides you with an average 75-100% improvement in slip resistance in WET CONDITIONS (which is when most accidents occur).

What Does the Anti-Slip Free Demo Include?

BOT-3000

During the demo, our team will bring the BOT-3000 onsite to measure the slip condition of your floor.  We will perform a treatment on a small section of the floor (approx 2′x2′).

*Upon completion of demo, a copy of your BOT-3000 print out of before and after readings will be available for your records.

Coefficient of Friction Test

Coefficient of friction (COF) is the measurement of the traction (friction) level of a surface.

In the image above, the BOT-3000, a Binary Output Tribometer, measures both the static and dynamic coefficient of floor friction, through the use of electronic test sliders in both wet and dry conditions. The BOT-3000 provides a permanent record of test parameters and results which can strengthen courtroom credibility. The BOT-3000 conforms to American National Standard B101.1, “Test Method for Measuring Wet SCOF of Common Hard-Surfaced Floor Materials”. It also conforms to ANSI draft B101.3, which measures dynamic coefficient of friction.
