Sole-Traction™ Anti-Slip Treatment for mineral based tile and concrete prevents the Sole of a Shoe or Foot from Slipping and Sliding in wet conditions, without ETCHING or DAMAGING the treated surface.
Sole-Traction™ Anti-Slip Floors can render your ceramic, porcelain, terrazzo, marble, granite, limestone, slate and concrete slip-resistant. There is minimal or no change in appearance. We Guarantee the treated surface will have a compliant Static Coefficient of Friction (SCOF) reading of at least 0.6.
It’s a perfect safety solution for restaurants, hotels, hospitals, nursing homes, office buildings, malls, schools and universities.
Sole-Traction™ Anti-Slip floor treatment will make kitchens, lobbies, entry ways, shower rooms, tubs, patios and pool decks slip-resistant and safer. Affordable enough for your garage, bathroom floor, kitchen, patio and foyer at home.
What is it?
Sole-Traction™ Anti-Slip Treatment is a specially formulated liquid safety product that is applied to your mineral surfaces by our factory trained and certified Service Technicians.
How does it work?
The “novel” Sole-Traction™ Anti-Slip product reacts with molecules of silica found in all mineral tiles and natural stones, creating an ‘invisible tread’ to provide you with slip-resistant safety, particularly in wet areas such as kitchens, change rooms, bathrooms, showers, patios, entry foyers and ramps.
How will it look after treatment?
Presentation is important. After your surfaces have undergone the Sole-Traction™ Anti-Slip Treatment you will notice little or no change in appearance. The real difference is in the improved slip resistance.
How long will it last?
Because the Sole-Traction™ Anti-Slip Treatment is a chemical reaction, not a coating, it will last for the life of surface when properly maintained. Proper cleaning is all that is required.
Independent tests (by government bodies) prove Sole-Traction™ Anti-Slip Treatment provides you with an average 75-100% improvement in slip resistance in WET CONDITIONS (which is when most accidents occur).
During the demo, our team will bring the BOT-3000 onsite to measure the slip condition of your floor. We will perform a treatment on a small section of the floor (approx 2′x2′).

Coefficient of Friction Test
Coefficient of friction (COF) is the measurement of the traction (friction) level of a surface.
In the image above, the BOT-3000, a Binary Output Tribometer, measures both the static and dynamic coefficient of floor friction, through the use of electronic test sliders in both wet and dry conditions. The BOT-3000 provides a permanent record of test parameters and results which can strengthen courtroom credibility. The BOT-3000 conforms to American National Standard B101.1, “Test Method for Measuring Wet SCOF of Common Hard-Surfaced Floor Materials”. It also conforms to ANSI draft B101.3, which measures dynamic coefficient of friction.
According to the National Floor Safety Institutes’ “Slip-and-Fall Quick Facts”; slips and falls in the U.S are responsible for:
Did You Know?
Slip and fall accidents are the second leading cause of accidental deaths in the U.S.
Safer floor Surfaces Prevent Injuries- Slip and fall accidents are not only expensive but are the single largest cause of emergency room visits. The average slip and fall injury costs $28,000. There are 9 million disabling slip and fall accidents each year according to the National Safety Council.

IRS Incentive In Complying With ADA Requirements (IRS Form 8826)
The IRS has provided that small businesses can deduct up to $15,000 for certain removal of architectural barriers to the handicapped which includes modification of the floor surfaces to make it comply with the anti-slip guidelines. In addition, certain small businesses can receive a tax credit of up to $5,000 for money spent to comply with ADA regulations. (IRS Form 8826)
